This place is awesome! Great feel calling and when we arrived. Lee was super friendly, explained everything well and his trails were awesome after a great rainfall. The go-carts were a ton of fun. Highly recommend if you are looking for an adventure and a lot of laughs. Thanks Farmhouse and Lee!!

A place you must check out if you’re in the area!! Such a fun experience on a beautiful property with amazing views all around. The track is very well-maintained and perfect for any experienced go-karter. It was my first time ever on a kart and I’ll be back for more!

Awesome family experience. It rained in the morning and we went at 1pm. The track was little dry, mostly muddy, with a few mud puddles. Three karts for six of us. We came out soaked from head to toe, muddy hands, faces, and clothes. Absolutely loved it. Glad it wasn’t dry and dusty because it was awesome to drive through the puddles and soak the kids. Bring towels and change of clothes and don’t think twice - a must do!

Go-Karts Review: Hands down the most exciting adventure my wife and I experienced over Memorial Day weekend. This beautifully-run family business is 5 STARS all the way. They are about 15-20 min away from Saranac Lake/Lake Placid, so it's not a bad drive. The kart we drove was in great condition and drove smooth. 5-6 laps around a generously-sized track filled with Christmas trees and open fields with the Adirondacks in the backdrop. The kart is $85, so split it and share a kart if budget is a concern. Shoutout to Lee who flattens the track, monitors your entire experience for safety, and runs marketing. Go visit them this summer!

If you are looking for simply THE BEST guided snowmobiling on the East Coast, look no further. Lee, our guide, led us on trails throughout public and private land, right near Saranac Lake, NY. Our tour lasted about 1 1/2 hours, which was plenty long enough for us. We rode through wooded trails, as well as wide open fields. The sleds featured hand warmers, and were well balanced. FS has gear if you need it, especially the required helmets. If you want to have a unique, exhilarating experience, this is the activity for you. Looking forward to next time!!!

Super fun! My entire family had a great time! Leave message on answering machine and Dick calls you back within 24 hours. The two guides we're so nice and helpful as they had to pull people out of the deep powder or dealing with people who had issues driving. My 2 issues - it's definitely not 90 minutes of riding as stated. It's 90 minutes from your scheduled start time, regardless of when your start, and there are many variables that can affect your time. - they should have a 5 minute time for people to get comfortable with the snowmobiles before heading out on the trails. That would save time later on for those who might have issues riding. With that being said, my family had an awesome time.

I highly recommend Farmhouse Snowmobiling. I called a few days in advance to guarantee a reservation since it was a holiday weekend. Dick and Sean were very professional and extremely nice. Sean was our tour guide...he knew the trails very well and made the tour fun for riders of all different levels. If you are looking for a memorable and fun experience this is the place to go!

We had a great time snowmobiling! The owner was our guide and he was great. He was even nice enough to sketch out directions for us out-of-towners. We started out on a big field to get the feel of the snowmobile then went into trails. We did an hour and a half tour and it was worth the money! The trails were beautiful and we saw deer and turkeys. The snowmobiles had heated handlebars which was so helpful since it was like 10 degrees out. I would definitely go back if I could. It was the highlight of our trip.

We booked our adventure for December 17 and kept our fingers crossed that there would be snow.Thankfully there was lots of it! Great communication when booking with Dick. Lee was a fantastic tour guide. We were a party of five and the teenagers loved it!

Snowmobiling Adirondak style
Dear Dick,Took 3 separate tours with your snowmobiles on the week of February 6th and all 20 of us had a blast. Your easy in, easy out sign up was appreciated, and your tour guides amazing. The snow mobiles were fast enough to be exhilarating and cautious enough to keep some of our speed demons safe. We had perfect conditions for all 3 trips and the fresh 2 feet of snow was fun. Our guides were attentive to all our needs, stopped for pictures, and gave us some free time to ride by ourselves. Ive been on several other snowmobile tours through he years and your definitely was the best. All the snow mobiles were heated and no one was a bit cold. Snow much fun!
Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our Farmhouse Snowmobiling tour. The staff at Farmhouse Snowmobiling were experienced and knowledgeable, providing super support throughout our tour. It was definitely a highlight to our week long trip in Lake Placid over the holidays. Highly recommend these tours if you are looking for an exciting outdoors activity.

A blast snowmobiling!
Myself (60 yo and did 1 time before) and husband (65 yo and a first timer) did the 90-minute tour at 10am on 1/14/21. Our tour was with Sean and he as a great guide, explained how to work the snowmobile before we left and promised not to lose or leave anyone behind. Our group was only us each solo and another couple on a double, so it was almost a private tour. Sean took us on both public and private land and advised some would be smooth and some bumpy and it WAS, but it was so much fun. We did trails and open area where you can go really fast. We took a 5-minute break about 2/3 way through, took pics and then headed back. They follow all COVID requires and supply helmets if you don’t have one. I highly recommend!!!

Lots of fun!
Always wanted to try snowmobiling so while we were staying in the area we made reservations with farmhouse snowmobiling. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time. It lasted for about an hour and a half. The only thing I didn’t like was the heated handles got very hot. I tried to hold them as little as possible but that’s kind of impossible. On my right hand the handle was so hot I ended up getting burned and blistered. When I mentioned it at the end the owner asked if our guide told us how to turn them off. Apparently he did not and I didn’t know how to do it. Just make sure you ask your guide how to turn off the heated handles because they get very hot. I had a great time and would do it again.

Awesome experience
I was new to snowmobiling and nervous to start. The guides are friendly, informative and supportive. After some initial adjustment, I was comfortable and thoroughly enjoying myself. My more experienced companion said that machines were in great shape. The trails were a good mix of scenic and higher speed. Attention was paid to safety, with one guide in front and one behind. The group was varied in skill level, but all were accommodated with no loss of fun and excitement for more experienced riders.
